  • Bought a '71 VW Bus from private party in Phoenix through "The Samba" website. Owner bought it last year and only drove it a few short times. He didn't have much history with vehicle. I live in SD CA and flew out to PHX to purchase the bus and took my new purchase to Competitive Engineering for an evaluation prior to driving home. Both Holly and Dan were a delight to work with. They understood my concern and fit me right in. After 1.5 hours Dan made some adjustments, test drove it and said "You're good to go to San Diego!". What a relief. When you look at Dan's inventory of product he's working on you know you are dealing with a "First Cabin" organization. He is a stickler for getting it right and getting the small things right. Wish he was in San Diego, because he won my business!
