  • When you go to a spa of any sort, you expect professionalism, knowledge of what they're doing, and a relaxing time without (hopefully) breaking the bank. Case in point: Spa Lamar in Scottsdale. I have been a regular for quite some time and have been slow to review it, but it's definitely worth a visit. I've had my hair cut and styled (they do great "wedding" hair), I've had a facial, mani/pedi, and most often, body waxing. I always see Ellen for my facials & body waxing. She does such a great job and I always feel relaxed during, and pretty after! Every staff member there is very friendly and professional, which stems from the fact everyone knows what they're doing. I like visiting this place as often as I can, but even if you're not super-rich, Spa Lamar is one of the rare affordable spas in the area. Go in, treat yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed :)
