  • Went here on Valentine's Day 2015 as part of our date night and I got the Kahiki Kai, and I can't remember what my date got, some 4 or 5 skull drink, but mine was DELICIOUS. The ambiance is really great, it has a cool time travelling dive bar in the 50's kind of a feel. They play clips from old 50's beach movies and it's nice and dim. Very cool bar. They should definitely up the ventilation, maybe change out the upholstery every couple of years to get rid of the old smoke smell. It was pretty quiet when we went, as that was our first stop of the evening at about 5:30 pm. Their menu is super fun tropical drinks that all have a nice boozey punch to them, and they rate their drinks by skulls, the more skulls the drinks have the more alcohol that is in them. The drinks are so well made that even the 5 skull drinks taste great. And each drink is about $9, but as other reviewers have said, you really only need 2, maybe 3. The theme on the inside was my favorite, it was like the Tiki Room from Disneyland meets your favorite greaser dive bar, like the Doubledown, only cleaner. I pretty much love this place and will be going back again soon.
