  • Sitting outside of the 2nd Metro that was closed on a Wednesday night, after midnight, another disappointed shopper asked if I knew if Sobey's was open. Being new to the area, I didn't even know where a Sobey's was let alone if it was open or not. But I looked it up and thanks to my handy-dandy Yelp ap, found out where it was and that it was in fact open! On this, my first visit to a Sobey's, I took my time to browse around. I found that they had a very good selection of organic, gluten-free, and imported groceries. I was also impressed with the cheese selection they offered. I thought that they priced their produce a bit high, but otherwise found the store's prices to be on par with or better than Metro. So guess what Metro! I found a new middle-of-the-night go-to grocery store. Sorry.
