  • This place holds a very special place in my heart. It warms winter's cold, dark nights in my life. I've been coming here for classes for a period of 2 years. I took a Learn to Knit class and a Project class two years ago. I have knitted a scarf, a headband, a hat. A grown woman who had never knitted before (b/c my home country is a tropical paradise) can actually knit! I most recently returned for a Sock Knitting class. Sock knitting is hard, but I am slowly trudging along. The class is taught by the incomparable Kate Atherly. She's an accomplished and amazing instructor! I was so pleasantly surprised she has written a knitting book, sold at Lettuce Knit that I immediately bought a copy! I like the knitting classes they offer, the instructors, and the yarn can be affordable. But it can also be expensive! They sell a wide range of yarn to satisfy any knitter's appetite. I highly recommend this store.
