I strongly agree with those who said Mike was arrogant and rude. After I accepted his bid, I called to finalize the dates for our waterfall construction. I asked if he could start our project in about 10 days and he said that he usually only schedules his work a week out. Understanding that construction jobs need some wiggle room, I asked if we could agree on at least a general time frame, so I could schedule other contractors around him. At this point he literally told me I was "stressing him out" because I wanted to "nail him down to dates." I asked if we could get a contract, and he said that he usually brings it the day he starts. I asked if I could get it before then, but he never brought it to me even though he said he would. It was a crazy and unprofessional interaction. I am so glad that I was able to find another contractor who did a beautiful job and wasn't "stressed out" by some sort of schedule and managed to get me a contract well in advance of the work. My advice is to avoid Mike unless you want to deal with someone who is condescending and rude.
