  • Ventured down to Sycamore for Pumpking Fest '17 this past weekend. There is a parking garage about 2 blocks away that was super convenient and only $5 to park in for the whole night. We were carded at the door, given wristbands, and on we went! Pumpkin Fest was a ticketed event, which means you purchase drink tickets ($5 per beer) and then redeem your tickets for brews. It was an easy, quick, efficient system that seemed to really help out with lines. I tried the Gourd Have Mercy pumpkin brew and it was INCREDIBLE. Seriously, how can I buy more? Not too heavy on the pumpkin taste, and a great hoppy full bodied flavor all throughout. I had two and could have easily put away a few more. The outdoor patio is so nice. It's lit with overhead market lights and has TVs. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
