My elderly mother fell and was taken by ambulance to the Banner in Mesa on Dobson. After doing a CT scan of the neck, they decided she needed to be moved to their phoenix facility. She paid her co-pay at this time.
Once moved to the trauma unit at the Phoenix facility, she had to pay the co-pay again, then moved upstairs into a room and once again had to pay co-pay.
That is 3 co-pays all with the same Banner system and two in one hospital on different floors.
I'm sorry, but that is absolutely ridiculous that each floor charges a co-pay.
The staff is great and does their jobs well. No complaints with them other than we waited to talk all day to a neck specialist to discuss the CT scans and they never showed up, so now we are going back again to wait for who knows how long and she stayed in the hospital all night.
I'm only giving it 3 stars because I think the co-pay issue is not right.
