Baby Kay's was a random find of ours, but the food was so good, we went back there only 4 days after our initial visit and have returned a few times since!
We've tried a few different menu items including the crab cakes, gumbo, shrimp po boy, jambalaya, stuffed chicken, seafood enchiladas, and shrimp etouffee. I have not had Cajun food elsewhere but if it tastes anything like the dishes served here then totally sign me up! I'm sure it's expected but everything is a bit on the spicy-side with a lot of different seasonings.
Our favorites so far have been the gumbo & shrimp etouffee because of the flavors. I only tried a bite but the crawfish etouffee was amazing as well! I would say that the only disappointment so far has been the shrimp po boy. I didn't find it to be as tasty as I expected it to be especially compared to the other items.
They offer special menu items (changes daily) as well as live music on some of the nights. The service we have received has been good every time! Overall, definitely a place to check out and one we won't hesitate to return to.
