Ex and I went Dicing 2 Eat (Dice Living). I chose the restaurant because I had heard that they wear their Pajamas when serving and it sounded neat. I was right! They do and it is neat!
Once there we were seated in the nearest booth to the door because I walk on a cane from a broken ankle I sustained in December, no fun! but that was very nice of the waitress to do for me.
The restaurant was clean and surprisingly empty-very few people were there and i had heard to come early and be prepared to stand in line so that made me wonder....
I had to try an item off the menu from a section chosen by The Die. ~The Classics done better~ was chosen for me and then my Ex Don got to choose an item for me to try from that section (want to go Dicing with us yet? we need a 3rd :D ) Chilaquiles was chosen for me (that may be the incorrect spelling though) It was basically fried Tortilla chips covered with Refried beans, cheese, sour cream, salsa, avocado and topped with 2 eggs. YUM!!
I chose the section for my partner and I chose beverages and then I was to choose his item and chose a Mocha Iced Coffee. He did not like it, he said it was watery and weak, I decided to order the Vanilla Mocha and had the same results and we love Iced coffee, Ihop seems to make the best from what we have had so far and this is the ONLY reason I have to give this place a 4 instead of a 5 star review.
The service was excellent and because I told the waitress that we were new, she brought me a Pot O Bread for Free, its a cinnamon roll in a cup served with a kind of sweet and not sweet dipping sauce-It was excellent.
Highly recommend this place! They even have spinning umbrella lamps! We will be going back next time The Dice chooses it of course!
