My girlfriend received as a gift, a 2-night stay at the MGM signature through Bluechipvegas.com. We used the gift to make a reservation for Saturday to Monday. I then called Bluechipvegas a week later to add Friday night to our reservation which I charged separately on my credit card ($127). When we arrived Friday night we checked in and when we got to our room it hadn't been cleaned. There were empty bottles, towels on the floor, and the bed had been slept in. We called the bluechipvegas office and their housekeeping service but nobody answered. We went down to the front desk and they advised us to book a separate room through MGM signature ($200) and then call bluechipvegas in the morning. (Front desk told us that this happens a lot with Bluechipvegas as there was already a complaint for the same thing earlier in the evening)
The next morning we called Bluechip and the lady who answered told us because she wasn't a supervisor she wasn't able to issue refunds but someone would be calling us Monday to issue the reimbursement. We were able to contact the housekeeping service to clean our original room for the remainder of our weekend.
On Monday we did not receive a call from Bluechipvegas and since it was still our vacation we decided not to contact them till Tuesday. On Tuesday, I called again and spoke to a Krystal Espinoza. After I explained what happened, not only did she not apologize, she said that she could only refund us $90 of the $127, the amount Bluechipvegas charged and not the $200 that we ended up paying MGM for the night. Krystal Espinoza was extremely rude and the most unprofessional customer service representative I have ever dealt with. She said that it is their policy and they can't do anything else and then refused to answer any other questions.
A week passed and since I still hadn't received my refund, I called Bluechipvegas again. Krystal answered, gave me the same attitude, and told me that they refunded the original purchaser even though I explained many times that the added room charge was on my credit card not the person that purchased the gift. After a lot of back and forth she finally agreed to refund my card the whole $127 and then she hung up on me.
