My husband and I just had our first baby at the end of May. We didn't realize that we needed to have a pediatrician lined up before we delivered and picked this location off of a piece of paper at the hospital (it was near our house) The dr definitely knows what he is doing and performed our son's circumcision and notice that he was tongue tied. There were two main issues that I had with it though.. The dr came the day after we delivered to check on my son. He didn't even introduce himself (I had no idea that he was our pedi since he didn't, my husband had to convince me) He was not personable with us at all. If I'm bringing my kids to his office I want them to be as excited as possible for it. It's usually for not so fun reasons that you go so I would want the dr to make light of it and help them cheer up. I didn't see that happening with him. The other reason we decided to leave was when we went for the circumcision. They wanted to wait two weeks after his birth which I wasn't okay with. It wanted it done quickly. So we went a week after instead. It's a very traumatic thing for not only baby, but the parents as well. When we walked in the room they had the restraining device that had a plastic body mold with Velcro that would hold the arms and legs down. I understand that they need to restrain him but I do NOT want to walk in and see that. They should have brought that in the room after I was out of it. It felt very inconsiderate. Once I left the room, crying by the way because of that, I could still hear my son screaming from the waiting room. Absolutely terrible experience for me. I would never go back. There were also bees in the waiting room? We heard patients screaming.. Interesting. So it's safe to say we transferred to a new location that we love! Oh yeah, they also didn't tell us that they changed locations. We went twenty minutes in the wrong direction and were not happy about it
