Too busy and bad map. I will start first by saying we knew what we were getting ourselves into. It was a glorious fall Saturday afternoon so we knew they'd be busy but holy cow! The parking area is fine. It is big and well marked by the staff directing you where to go. They give you a map upon entering the lot and it is a very bad map (the map is of where everything is located on the farm). I was also not expecting the $7 cover charge however (if I had been a good yelper I would have seen that in a prior review. Ho hum). So $7 gets you in to get a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. Okay, this is my issue...I want to be able to walk to the patch and pick my pumpkins. I don't want to be forced into a hay ride with others. Me n the hubby go and fill a cart, can't do that here :( we did not even make it to the patch. So we paid $14 for nothing other than knowing we won't ever go here again for pumpkins. I refuse to wait in line for a hay ride to not be able to pick more than 2 pumpkins. I would even be willing to pay the money to get into the patch as I understand you need to make money somehow but, yikes. I was incredibly disappointed!
