My experience started out fine purchasing a groupon for newborn shoots. I initially contacted Stephanie and specifically asked what was included for the price and explained that she has tons of props and that it was extra for adding parents or siblings to the shoot and the answer seemed thorough enough.
I then noticed on her Facebook page (where she's quite often short with people) that someone asked if the price included prints to which she replied no that was extra. No further explanation.
So I contacted her asking what I could expect to pay for the photos so I could prepare. A few days later she replied informing me that it was going to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $350+ for the right to print and the groupon only covered the cost of the sitting. As a new mom who has never hired a professional photographer I would never have thought to ask this kind of question so maybe that's on me.
Once she told me I replied that she should make that known on the coupon and thanked her, but her stated I would not be using her services. I did not even ask for a refund.
She replied with "whatever" and then proceeded to call me cheap and say that a photographer would not want to work with me.
I finally had to ask her to stop sending me unkind text messages as I would not tolerate being harassed before she left me alone.
Meanwhile, I'll be paying less than half of her outrageous fees to a photographer who is far more experienced and who's photographs look far better than what Stephanie has posted on her website.
The lack of professionalism, not to mention the childish replies, was shocking to say the least, but it was having to ask her to stop harassing me that makes me write this review.
