| - Came because Calvin Harris at Omnia was selling too well so they canceled the guest list and moved everyone to Marquee under the impression girls drank for free until midnight. Well, that sounds great except it isn't true. Arrived right as it opened at 10:30 and it took an hour to get in when we only had a single line of people in front of us. Line was moving wayyy too slow and the bouncers were inconsistent with rules. One guy said we could bring a small sugar inside in case of a medical emergency since we had a Type 1 diabetic in our group. At security they threw it away. Other people saw this and placed some snacks in pockets which they saw and allowed. A little inconsistent if you ask me.
Inside the club they changed the time to free drinks before 11:30 and we arrived inside at 11:27 pm allowing for one free drink. Still free, ok but you shouldn't have to show up at opening to only score one free drink if its opening bar. Lots of girls left right away because the open bar was closed.
The main problem I have with this place is three-fold. 1. They kept serving paying guests who were GONE. I mean GONE. One girl couldn't even make her way to the bar without help and they still served her. Another girl puked and no one escorted her out. As I'm writing this, I'm sitting to a guy whose trying to not puke. Stop serving people when they're this drunk...it makes for a messy floor and crazy atmosphere. 2. The nightclub is small. Unlike the pool parties that look amazing this is a small room with no windows. 3. The exit. They let you enter the club via an amazing elevator ride. When you leave next to puking Sally and Sloppy Joe, you have to walk down 4+ flights of stairs that look like an emergency exit. Yes, drunk girls eat s*^t here, and it looks...interesting. Photos attached.
Overall, when Vegas has so many great nightclubs (here's looking at you XS) this one misses the mark which is sad because Cosmo is my favorite Vegas spot. If they could work on not over-serving, speeding up the time in line, and making the exits a little nicer, I might be down, but as I'm trying to step over puke (because I'm completely sober) and exiting with everyone else who I spent an hour in line with, I can feel confident in saying this is NOT "the place" in Vegas. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else instead.
