  • Dear Yelp followers: It is with honor and dignity we recently donated the bulk of my Dear Friends Estate to the museum. I can assure you the foundation is about as caring to the visitors and the entire local community. In planning stages are a huge museum and the entire region will enjoy a place of history, preservation and learning for all ages. In addition, there are special train rides all year long. The Museum and its foundation is a charitable contribute to Make a Wish, The Boys and Girls Scouts etc. I would encourage if near Boulder, Hoover Dam, or Vegas to make the trip and if living anywhere in the area and get involved. The bulk of my estate from a life long railroading perspective (35 years in the industry) plus as a collector will join my Dearly Departed friend in 2018. Many of our pieces are of museum quality and the museum treated my inheritance, with grace and will serve as custodians for generation to come.
