OMG this place is amazing!!!!! You would have no idea from seeing the outside of this business, the area of town that it is in & the mall plaza it sits in. It's a hidden gem!! I was my friend's wedding guest. Once we arrived they had everyone waiting outside before we could go in. The traffic was very busy with cars driving by us, as I mentioned it's located in a shopping plaza. I felt a little nervous while waiting outside as one guy who appeared to be on drugs drove by us with a Lysol can hanging out the window in his hand & he was spraying @ us as he drove by. Weird?? He then turned around & came back aiming the can @ ya but didn't spray it. The air stunk of Lysol.
When they finally started letting people in they had security guards @ the door with a wand checking some people for any metal/weapons on then. Me & my friend's didn't get checked. Not sure why??? Girls can pack some heat too! This was making me a little more nervous as I felt it was confirming my thoughts of the surrounding area not being very safe.
My friend had brought a gift basket for the newly weds & the gifts inside were not wrapped & it included 2 bottles of wine. One security guard told my friend she couldn't bring the wine inside & she told him it was her wedding gift, he then said he was going to have to put the bottles behind the bar. She once again explained to him it wasn't for her to drink it was part of the wedding gift. So that security guard radio to another one who came out & explained to him what was going on so he had told my friend that the gift would have to go in some back room. I couldn't believe how much of a hard time she got for brining in unopened wine bottles that were a wedding gift. They have a bar inside which was basically an open bar. The wedding party was handing out drink cards that got you a free drink. I never once paid for a drink, just kept tipping the bartender for my cocktails.
I felt like I was in a completely difference place once I stepped inside. It was absolutely gorgeous. The decor, the lighting & the colors. They have one small area for the soon bride & groom to get married at with chairs for the guests. Over off to the side is the dinning room with the stage & dance floor that is hidden with curtains. Once the veroni was over we got to fool around & take pictures on the back board provided with photo props. Not sure if that was provided by the venue or the wedding party but they were fun & added character to our photos.
The tables were like a fairy tail! The colors of the table cloths, top layer had sequins on them & the plate ware matched perfectly.
The stage provided a table for the bride & groom with over sized chairs that looked fit for a King & Queen. The bride & groom were able to see all their guests from their spot.
On the corner of the dance floor they had a table set up for the wedding cakes! Yes cakes...they had two. A circular curtain hide the cakes until it was time to reveal them. There was also a room in the back near the bathrooms covered with curtains & looked to have couches & chairs for the wedding party.
The bathrooms were nice & clean but I felt like I was visiting Mexico because they had signs in English & Spanish stating not to flush feminine products down the toilet OR TOILET PAPER!!! Toilet paper??? Why? Is their sewage system bad???? The reason I say I felt like I was in Mexico is cause I've tracked there many times & have used bathrooms that didn't allow TP in their toilets. Of course I missed this @ first cause the stall I was in has a sign in Spanish.....I don't speak/read Spanish....lol So it wasn't until I went to wash my hands I saw the same sign written in English.....ooops!
This venue has plenty of room for tables, dance floor, buffet set up in the corner & a cozy, intimate place to exchange vows & get married.
I'm not sure what else can go on here but if I was to get married I'd definitely would look into this place or look I to hiring the decorator.
This is one place & wedding I won't forget! Beautiful work guys!!
I was actually surprised not to find them on Yelp when I went to go check in. I mentioned it to one of the workers & they told me it was & I had to break the news & told them it wasn't so I went & added it. It was on Facebook but not on Yelp & when I actually first went to check it the Chandelier bar popped up that is located inside the Cosmo & I accidentally checked in there.
So anyways........I have no idea on the cost of this place but it's definitely a venue worth checking out!!!
