The wall paper was peeling off the walls in spots in the hallways, the carpet is worn, the lights flicker a little, but the beds are comfortable, they towels are clean, the the water pressure is good in the showers, and the pool is cool. I'd stay here again without a thought.
Last time I was in Boulder City I stayed at the Boulder Inn and paid $98 for a smokey room with a door that had been kicked in very recently and a bed that sagged all over. Never again.
The Hacienda Hotel & Casino was $38, right near the Hoover Dam and our room had a view of Lake Mead. What more do you need after a hot dusty day of mountain biking?
