  • Been wanting to go to the bodies exhibit for quite sometime ever since I heard about it when they had it over at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. I just didn't have the chance to go being so busy with my kids & going to work back then. I'm back in college now & since I'm taking an anatomy & physiology course, my instructor decided to have us go to the exhibit for some quiz points. FINALLY!!! a chance to go plus a college student discount! HAHA! =) Took my husband & my 2-yr old daughter & we all loved it. Hubby was actually unsure about it to begin with but he actually enjoyed it. He doesn't really have the stomach for this kind of stuff sometimes but he was actually intrigued by everything. lol. I mean I looked at every single body part they had in there. Super interesting!! And the fact that they're REAL cadavers was mind boggling. I actually just seen my 1st cadavers in class about a week before going to the exhibit which weirded me out a little bit but I did ok. Hehe. They had their skin on though which is a little different from what you see at the exhibit. Most of their skin is off. But anyway... loved the details of the human body that you can actually see with the naked eye & each body part was very much informational. REALLY.... it's an awesome learning experience! My 2-yr old was non-stop "mommy! what's this & that??" =) She wasn't afraid at all. My favorite part was the baby section. That was real cool. I was so amazed on how they setup everything in there. How the cadavers are standing... The different views & cuts of the body parts & breaking them down to it's categories makes it very easy to understand. Especially for students. I'm not sure if there's different pricing within the schools but I paid $10.50 for our tickets. Tickets bought at the door I believe is about $32. Children up to 3-yrs old are free. Go check it out in you're interested in this kind of stuff. It's frickin' awesome!
