  • I've been a resident at Zazu for a year now, and I couldn't be happier. This is my first apartment, and after looking at numerous cookie-cutter apartments we came across Zazu. All the doors are painted different colors, and the entire place is full of green trees, bushes and plants. It feels more like a community rather than an apartment complex, and sure doesn't feel like you're in the middle of downtown Phoenix. There are many different layouts for you to choose from, and most everything inside is just over 3 years old... The paint, tile floors, carpet, counters, cabinets, fridge, stove, AC unit, etc.. There is indeed free high-speed internet, and free Cox cable (over 100 channels.. I opted to get Tivo for $25/month to get HD and DVR). There is a snack area with a candy vending machine, soda machine, and coffee machine.. A sandy 'beach' area with chairs and tables, a heated pool, and a large grassy area for all the dogs. There are 2 places to do your laundry.. I've maybe had one small problem with them, and I don't think have ever run into a time when they have all been in use. All my friends told me horror stories about their landlords in all of the apartments they have stayed in.. and I think this is Zazu's best quality. Travis and Eric will go above and beyond to personally help you and make things perfect for you. Just renewed my lease and moved into a bigger apartment.. love it here!
