| - Oasis OBGYN was an excellent place that provided great care up until the point where they moved to Clinic 24. First, I was asked 4 times why I was there... by 4 different people. I was asked to arrive 30min early, so I did. Even though I had been a patient for 3 years, I was asked to fill out new patient paperwork. I completed this on a tablet. After I completed that, they hand me papers that asked the exact same questions that I just spent 20min answering. I made the receptionist aware of this. Her response was, "it's back up in case our computers mess up." Most questions were not health related, such as, "Do you have wrinkles?" The tablet kept advertising the cosmetic things Lynne Fiore does. I simply wanted a well woman exam. Not botox or the Hcg diet! I asked my provider how they could lose records and she said they didn't lose them, that they were still at the old building. I had made the appt 3 months prior, so a good practitioner would have reviewed the records for at least a second before seeing a current patient. Going for a well woman exam is hard enough and this office makes the unpleasant experience absolutely miserable! Also, the exam table had metal sticking out that they "fixed" by covering it with duct tape.
The practitioners clearly don't understand what "preventative care" is. A well woman exam is preventative care. Yet, you aren't allowed to ask any medical questions or have any reproductive health concerns addressed at this visit. As they say, "you have to make a problem appt". Preventative care is care provided to prevent future health problems. So, a practitioner who refuses to address concerns and answer health questions during a routine annual exam isn't providing preventative care. My experience from the receptionist to the providers was awful and I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor would I trust them with any medical needs ever again.
