I had higher hopes for decor and ambiance of this bar given it's name. The only thing reminiscent of the atomic craze of the 50's is the infamous poster of the Miss Atomic Las Vegas'57. Nailed to the wall next to Atomic Liquor branded tees and tanks. The atmosphere of this bar is lively hipster, and cocktail menu isn't in any way a nod to vintage Vegas, but rather very pretty and tasty signature creations.
Decor is what you'd expect in a place trying to highlight it's vintage theme, with mid century era pieces like cigarette vending machines, just for show, of course. Not sure if pool cues on the wall are really necessary since no pool table is anywhere to be found.
Nice selection of craft brews on tap might be my only incentive to drop by again, but I'd have to be really in the mood for rubbing elbows with 20-some year old crowd.
All in all I didn't see anything that set this bar apart from it's counter parts up and down the east side of Freemont street.
