| - Coming in from out of state for a last minute meeting with a client near this Chipotle location. We wanted to cater lunch for the client and staff. I understand through online order there is a minimum 24 hrs however it does state depending on the store, it may have availability for last minute cater. I called, the lady that answered didn't know the policy and said order online. I explained that it does require minimum 24 hrs and that I couldn't place it online however I could call the store to see if they could.
She said, "No, we are busy." So then I proceeded to ask her if I can't get catering spread (need to feed 15 people, catering is 20 minimum as well, didn't mind throwing extra few bucks) if I can place 15 individual order on a group order. She answered, "No, we are real busy and we have another catering order." If I brought all of my client's staff to the store, I wonder if she would deny the service?
In summary, I said thank you and called the Chipotle off 44th and Thomas Street. The lady there was very accommodating and helped us to provide lunch for our client. Picking up a full 20 people catering spread tomorrow at 11:30 am. She really saved us.
If you really want the business, especially it's a substantial order, cater to your customers. I am sure coming in early to prep isn't so bad.
