Back in 1993, this was the 1st anchor store to open at Arrowhead Towne Center. The rest of the mall wasn't even open yet. The ONLY restaurant to eat at was the AppleBee's across the street. The store was dominated by Sun City folks.
I like this store...it's now Macy's. Avoid the Woman's restroom if you can...
Macy's even tried to remodel (paint) the restrooms, which were (and still is) the MOST disgusting restrooms in the entire mall. It still SMELLS like Porta-Potty sewage. They should pipe in ongoing Lysol or Fabreeze into the Woman's restroom to mask that awful smell.
Be careful when you open the door to any restroom stall, you might find something so disgusting you'll loose your lunch!
The rest of the store feels dirty. Macy's shouldn't be gross and dirty with messy racks and piles of clothing in the fitting rooms. Penny's remodeled their store and it's not gross in there. Dillard's is just as old as Macy's and they haven't remodeled and they still keep their store nice.
Service: Not sure, I can't find anyone when I need to check out. I do like the self-checking price scanners around the store--if you want to see if something is on sale or clearance.
Overall, this is NOT a very impressive Macy's. It is smaller than most too.
