  • I went to Erin Michelle to get my hair cut about one month ago. I'm new to the area and needed to find someone to go to, and since I like alternative hairstyles, she seemed like a good fit. I called and left her a message and got a call back within a couple of hours. Her studio in Old Town Scottsdale was relatively easy to find. She was finishing with another client when I arrived, but she was very warm and friendly when greeting me, and I didn't mind waiting a few minutes. (She even offered me a beer which was a first for me. Awesome.) I had no idea how I wanted my hair cut, but she was very patient with me. We discussed it for a few minutes and I told her she had free reign. She was very personable, and we chatted about various things as she washed (she truly is amazing with the scalp massage) and cut my hair. In what felt like no time, she was finished. Then, she did a fantastic job styling it for me (which I was never able to replicate, unfortunately). This was the most I've paid for a haircut, but it was still reasonable, and worth it. I've received a lot of compliments on my hair in the past month. She also answered any questions I had about the products she was using, which I appreciated. Highly recommended.
