| - OK, a couple of caveats to this review. I traveled in from the US, so the process was much more involved than had I been from Canada. The only thing you MUST do, in that case is to leave yourself more time than you might ever even THINK you will need, especially when you leave Canada. I myself was at the airport 2-1/2 hours before my flight and was very very happy I did so. I had no stress. :)
If you travel extensively, Global Entry will cut at least 45 minutes from the time spent, well worth the $100 you pay for 5 years of the privilege.
I found the security staff very nice both coming and going, no problems there at all, and everyone was extremely helpful to those of us flying out of Canada by pointing us in the right direction to go for customs.
The airport itself was very nice and bright. Looks like it may have been recently renovated.
The terminal I flew out of to get back to the US was just fine with plenty of food and shopping options. Also, one of the restaurants there had lots of tables that provided free use of an iPad, no purchase required, as you waited for your flight.
