  • Why haven't I reviewed this place before? Whether I am going to IKEA, to Charlotte, or just passing by, I always stop to grab a Bahn mi sandwich here. Don't let the post-apocalyptic look of the mall discourage you. On the inside the restaurant is spic-n-span. Sanitation rating of 98.5. (Can't say as much for the mall bathroom - go before you arrive.) They offer 10 varieties of sandwiches. I always get the pork, with a slight preference for the grilled (#6) over the barbecue (#8). The key to Bahn mi is the bread and the contrasts - sweet, savory, acidic, tender, crunchy. Le's does all that very well. One warning: the sandwiches come with raw peppers. If you can't handle spicy, ask for without.
