So torn on this review and this place...2 1/2 stars.
Most of the food was delicious. The service was horrendous. It is way overpriced.
I had pasta fagioli soup. ($8) There was not one single piece of pasta in it. Hmmm...what a misnomer? Regardless, it was hot and flavorful. Hubby had linguini and clams. ($22) I had a shrimp and scallop vodka pasta. ($26) My pasta was cooked perfectly and it was nicely seasoned. Very good. My pet peeve, happens all the time, is that I had to dig my fingers into my pasta with red sauce, while wearing white, to surgically remove the tails from my shrimp. It is not appropriate. The customer should not have to do the food prep on this. Remove tails. My girlfriend ordered sea bass ($35). It was totally mushy and improperly thawed. She did say the spinach was tasty though.
Our dirty dishes sat on the table for the entire meal. We asked multiple times for bread. We never got more water. Our server never checked on us and our food. Service was poor.
The price point makes no sense for a neighborhood Italian place.
Expect tasty food but expect to pay more than it's worth. Maybe service was a fluke. The table next to us was equally as irked. They cancelled their food and were visibly upset with the server.
Needless to say, I won't return.
