Purchased a phone a couple days ago. MY ADVICE: DO NOT leave the store without backing up phone. When I got home I realized the sales rep gave me the wrong gig in order to fully restore my iPhone. The phone kept crashing all through the night and the next day because it was overloaded trying to back up 46 gigs to a 32 gig phone.
Spoke with the manager who told me I would have to pay a $45 restocking fee to get the phone with the right amount of gigs to properly back up my old phone.
Even though the oversight was in the initial sale. Why would I ever buy a phone without the proper storage to back it up? Especially when the sales rep was right there looking at my iCloud back up and walking me through the steps so that I could back it up when I got home. Don't you think at some point it would have occurred to him that the phone he sold me was not the proper gig to fully back up?
I called corporate and they were kind enough to remove it from my bill. So if you are going through the same experience as I did with this store try calling corporate.
I even told the manager that corporate was going to reverse it anyway. He was not empathetic at all towards the situation and clearly his pride and ego got in the way of his customer service.
