  • If you find a wildlife animal that is injured, please do them a favor and take them here! I was orginally directed to another vet office to take a squirrel who had been attacked by a cat during the weekend. After a terrible experience there, I was directed to VCA Black Mountain Animal Hospital. I could tell the second I walked thru those doors that the squirrel would be in amazing hands here. We had her for a few days and got attached to her. We even gave her a name (Elliott) so we wanted to make sure she was going to be cared and loved for. The first thing they did was pick her up to check on her. They advised us they would be giving her fluids and seeing what is wrong. You could feel the warmth and compassion from the staff. I went from leaving with tears from the other vet to leaving with smiles from this vet.
