Overall experience 5 stars!
PROS:
* 10 % discount for overall bill when you mention you were referred by Yelp!"Whoo hoo!
*Very Clean.
*Great customer Service.
* A variety of Vietnamese foods to choose from.
* Pho Tai was good. Light broth. Pho was good (4 star.) I enjoy
authentic Vietnamese food and homemade broth.
(Be careful of DARK broths. I have had some bad experiences elsewhere and believe it may be "Instant or canned beef broth" versus homemade or restaurant made.)
Suggestions:
If ordering Pho and you like the beef. Tips on the following.
I like the rare beef "Pho Tai"
* Ask for the tai on the side "raw/rare" - add it in your HOT soup as soon as it is served to you. Then flip the meat under the noodles to cook the way you prefer it. Don't be intimidated by doing this. This avoids it being over cooked. I made the mistake of ordering where the kitchen has it already cooked for you and was well done beyond my preference.
* Use the standard veggie garnishments: bean sprouts, mint leaves and I like to get extra lemon to squeeze in my broth.
* Condiments: Siracha (hot sauce) and Hoison sauce are added by you to your preference. A little goes a long way then, gradually add extra if needed.
(These TIPS are good for Pho, especially for those who are new to eating Pho.)
My only regret is wishing I had more time to try their other items on their menu. However, I don't have that big of an appetite and I was only passing through. (Ban Xeo, Bun Bo Hue - has been highly recommended by other Yelpers, Bahn Mi (although related their french bread is not the traditional harder crisp outside, they have fresh bread.)
Enjoy! I recommend this great place. They have a lot of private parking. The thing that tripped me out was the outside decor/architect. It's a diner! But, when you walk inside it has the Vietnamese flare!
