  • *2.5 stars Unfortunately our first experience at crafty coyote wasn't a great one. This was for brunch on a Saturday. 2 problems: food and service. I got the scrambled croissant. "3 large...eggs, green and red peppers, onion, mushrooms, asparagus, tomato, avocado, goat cheese and our house hollandaise on freshly baked croissant". Sounds good, right? It ended up being a plate of plain scrambled eggs that were very bland and overcooked, a medley of bland veggies next to it , and a plane croissant on the side. I think the description oversold it for sure. And there was no hollandaise sauce which brings me to the service. Our server was really friendly but it took a good 10-15mins before she came back to check on us after dropping off our food. There were 3 servers and a bar tender working, with very few tables filled. Between the 4 of them, no one took any notice of me waiving to get someone's attention about the hollandaise sauce. They spent a lot of time chatting with each other at the kitchen and bar. The good: server was friendly, place was clean, and beer selection was good. Might come back again for beers, but definitely not brunch.
