  • I visited the office in Gilbert - Dr Phillips, the dentist gave me a pretty good exam but his wife Karen, the hygenist was TERRIBLE!! Her demeanor, her attitude, her lack of professionalism, her irritating habit of calling to her husband or a member of staff (right ove my ear) again and again for something she forgot was so unprofessional! She even called her husband, the dentist "bud!". She refused to clean my teeth after I had paid for a cleaning saying that I had "periodontal disease" and would require: periodontal scaling, root planing and irrigation totalling $508.00 The reasoning was that I had 'pockets' of 3/4/5 depths - therefore I had periodontal disease! I am almost 70 yrs old - of course I have some pockets! What a ripoff! I complained to the manager Tracy who gave me a free cleaning at the Mesa office where Debbie was the hygenist and did a great job. DO NOT GO TO THE GILBERT OFFICE AND AVOID KAREN! Be warned!
