  • We have been coming here for years in Phoenix and I grew up going to Cracker Barrel. Tonight was not a pleasant experience at all. The server was nice and mostly attentive. The food was pretty good. However, I paid for a sundae dessert and they were out of hot fudge- the only topping I like. After agreeing to that so my daughter could share it, I noticed the bill was almost $30 for a kids meal, adult meal and 2 drinks. Then, I see why- my daughter got an egg with her kids pancake meal and we were charged for a one egg meal for $3.40 in addition to $6.20 for her kids pancake. If I had been told up front it wasn't a small additional charge, I would have ordered an adult meal. I was informed at the register that it was because it didn't come with an egg. Last time we will come here for awhile because I won't be duped anymore.
