The CN Tower can be crazy in the summer with waits as long as 2 hours up and 2 hours down the elevators. If you can catch it in the spring like early May I recommend it. The first section of the entrance is a history of the construction of the Towers with some small displays . After going along the winding lobby which can hold very large lines you come to the first elevator. The elevator takes you quickly to the first observation windows with great views of the city through floor to ceiling windows. They have a concession stand that was not open yet in May 2018 but is scheduled for the summer rush. There are bathrooms on each floor. The second elevator takes you to the glass floor looking down 342 m 1.122 ft bellow. I recommend laying down on the floor and looking up into the mirror ceiling which is a fun photograph. Don't worry about cracking the glass it can hold a lot, there is even an interesting info graphic description. After that take the elevator to the highest spire for even more breathtaking views. When your all done take the elevator to the bottom and stop into the gift shop for not only CN merchandise but also some Canadian treats. When you get out stop and take a picture next to the Canada sign right in front. It's not as good as the Nathan Phillips Square one but another photo opportunity. If you decide at this point to get the City Pass be sure to get the coupon book for discounts at a bunch of city spots and gift stores.
