| - This is my family's second, my first visit. I did not cut my hair, just took my son. Last time when he went with his dad, they had a pleasant experience. People were nice and they washed my son's hair twice (before and after the cut). Today, I took him in. There was one customer having a cut, and another designer was resting, so the lady at the desk seemed to ask him to cut my son's hair. I am not Chinese so I don't know what she exactly said. They didn't wash my son's hair but I didn't think two washes were necessary anyway so I didn't ask.
Hair turned out okay. But I was so unhappy with the attitude of the designer guy. Not sure if he was having an especially bad day. It was only 12pm and the store was far from busy, but maybe he was tired. But he did not say a word, let alone greet, any of us, or ask if we wanted it short or long. So I approached him and said I want it to be short but slightly longer along the center. Now the guy threw a glance at me and did not say a word. No question, no nodding or even shrugging. He just simply ignored me. There could have been reasons why he did not speak but he had no intention to share or make his customer feel better. The impression I got was that he wasn't happy to do a $15-hair cut. Why offer the service in the first place?
When the cut was over, they did not wash my son's hair, but by then, I was so unhappy so I didn't bother to ask. I did leave a tip($5) because child haircut only costs $15. I honestly plan not to return to this place ever again.
