We are locals here (part of the year here, part elsewhere). We eat out every single day. We recognize that the restaurant business is a difficult and tricky business to achieve success in. We eat in divey out of the way places and in higher end restaurants (think Hank's in GVR). It is with this in mind we write reviews.
Babystacks Cafe is a breakfast/lunch cafe offering pancakes, eggs, omelets and sandwiches. We stopped in for breakfast. Marginal pancakes that tasted good but that were very dry. Our omelets were nothing to write home about with obviously frozen seasoned potatos. Its hard to mess up breakfast and while these weren't "messed up", they just were not good. We recently ate at another "diner" near by. For the same money we received an excellent meal, huge and tasty . . . very much unlike that at Babystacks Cafe. There are too many other better choices to risk another visit.
