| - I loved Tokyo Nail Art Bar so much! I did a bit of research before going in, so I knew how the process worked. I would greatly recommend being prepared if you plan to go here. Basically, just in case you don't already know, they don't do full manicures here. They will shape and buff your nails, but they don't push back and cut your cuticles, etc. So, I went in fully prepared for my nails to be painted.
The girl that did my nails was amazing. She was super quick, but also extremely attentive and detail-oriented. I told one of my friends after, it was the most attentive gel "manicures" I've ever had. And it only takes 15-20 minutes!
So often when I have my nails done I feel like the paint job is less than satisfactory. Tokyo Nail Art Bar made sure my nails were painted to the very edges of every single nail. They made sure every one of my nails was the exact same length and shape. I even had a nail that was broken down to the quick in a very tragic airplane/suitcase ordeal, and my nail technician worked so gently to make sure it was shaped properly before beginning to paint my nails. Plus, they can do amazing designs and add-ons!
Looking at photos I wasn't sure how long the designs would last. I had some pretty large rhinestones put on my accent nail. But, I still wanted to do this. There isn't a nail art bar around where I live, and any nail salon in my area has denied any requests for anything even remotely difficult, so I was all in. Surprisingly my manicure lasted approximately two weeks. The fact that those large stones stayed on that long really shocked me. But, I was super happy they did!
I got so many compliments on my nails when I got home. Again, there isn't a place around where I live that will really do these designs, so it was so fun to have something different. Plus, I just loved it in general. If there were a nail art bar around me I would definitely frequent it, because the service I received at Tokyo Nail Art Bar was fantastic! I highly recommend it!
