  • I am an avid whole foods shopper. In the US I have visited stores in Ca, Az, D.C., and Fl. I definitely stretch my budget doing so because with cancer rates approaching 1 in 2 people, I want my family to have high quality, organic food. My kids aren't exposed to a bunch of junk food by avoiding a standard grocer. I also believe in what they do as a company. However, expensive enough in the US, I find the store here to be about 20 percent more expensive. I just cannot afford to spend that much. I mean $3.50 for a can of Refried beans is just too much. I usually cook my own beans, but as we are travelling for work I was not provided a big enough pot. I went there twice buying vert little and spent well over $100. I will find a cheaper market but will return to whole foods when I go back to the US.
