We have been taking our golden doodles to Bark Street for over 5 years. We actually moved to New Orleans and about a year ago, and when we moved back to Charlotte we were so excited to for our pups to finally have a proper cut again. It's nearly impossible to find someone who can give doodles a good cut for whatever reason. I felt compelled to write this review now, because I was looking up the phone number the other day to schedule an appointment and google brought me over to yelp where I read some not so good reviews, and I wanted to address them. I can't speak to the few people who were unhappy with their dogs cut but I need to say something about the person who made the accusation of their dog getting hit. How irresponsible and straight up wrong. Unless there is video proof of such a thing, its just slander and disgusting. My dog Layla is one of the most anxious and high strung creatures in the world. In fact, if she was even spoken to in a loud tone, she would literally shake upon walking in, which she doesn't. Bark Street is actually one of 3 places IN THE WORLD where Layla walks in tail wagging. So I know she is treated with love there. Personally, I love this place and have recommender SEVERAL friends to go there, and they are also all happy. In short, I wouldn't believe everything you read
