I really want to like this bakery because every time I pass by I can smell freshly baked bread. The few times I did try (before and after the renovation) were chocolate eclair, tiramisu, crème brûlée, and the Portuguese cookie. The chocolate eclair was hard, the tiramisu was watery, the crème brûlée looked and tasted burnt, the Portuguese cookie was hard and tasteless. The pastries might look decent but the taste certainly not. They also sell bread, sandwiches, and pizzas there, though I never tried. My coworkers had seen some expired cold cut and what seemed like droppings in the bread there before the renovation. I don't like how the bread is all just out there on the rack for everyone to touch, it's just not very hygienic. There are always old men hanging out and drinking there since they serve alcohol.
