  • My experience using this florist was not what I expected at all, nor anything like these glowing reviews. I used to live in Durham Region but several years ago moved to California. I wanted to use a local florist instead of ordering flowers online. The lady who answered my call was indeed very nice. I ordered some flowers to be delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. I told her that I would like to spend $60 including delivery (which was down the street). I am giving two stars for the pleasant lady who answered my call and for prompt delivery on the day I requested. However, here's where it goes downhill. I asked for pink and purple flowers. She told me that she could include lilys, roses and other flowers they would be getting in special for Mother's Day. I agreed and specifically said NO CARNATIONS. The arrangement sent to my mother was only two roses, no Lily's and a bunch of filler flowers including - carnations! I was so disappointed in this arrangement and would not use this florist again because they didn't listen to what I asked and they used mostly filler flowers in the arrangement. Next time I will stick with Reeds. At least I can trust them to do what I ask and deliver a nice arrangement.
