Old school coffee and doughnut shop. I dig it. They make desserts the way they've been made for decades, lard, butter and love. Dont cater the fly-by-night dietary BS restrictions people come up with these days. Coffee comes from a carafe, not some weird osmosis, drip system that costs 37 dollars for a cup. Just good, brewed coffee. Only thing (I can think of) that could use improvement is customer service. The girls behind the counter arent always the nicest. I guess if I had to be up at the ass-crack of dawn to serve doughnuts I would be a little cranky too. Also, dont even ask for just a cup of ice water for your thirsty 6 year old who may or may-not have just got done Irish dancing for an hour....they will give you a big, fat NO and point to the vending machine. You have to PAY for water.
