  • I haven't been here in years but decided to repay wiener world a visit, and compare it to my personal favorite, the original hot dog shop in Oakland. I ordered two 1/4 lb beef dogs and a drink for $8.50. One with brown mustard, relish, ketchup and hot sauce, and the other with kraut and chili. This was a filling meal but the dogs lacked a distinct flavor. Overall, this place serves a good dog and is a better bang for your buck but the "O" has a better tasting dog and toppings. I immediately drove to the "O" and ordered similar dogs (see review). For art lovers, one of my favorite murals in the city is above wiener world, of Andy and Andy.
