  • If nothing else, come here for the experience! It's so cool to eat and sit alongside the small airport. We were staying just outside of downtown Madison since a lot of hotels were booked for CrossFit games but it worked out because Yelp led me to the Jet Room. It wasn't hard to get here but it took some time to find the entrance. Just enter the "Wisconsin Aviation" building and it'll be on your left. Long story short, it's like a diner that got placed right next to the plane parking. They have bar stool seating by the kitchen and tables by the windows for families/groups. Certainly roomy enough! They have everything you can think of for brunch; we ended up getting a veggie skillet and potato pancakes. Their portions are big; we had leftovers between the two of us! All in all, a great deal and a cool experience. The day we went, it was quite cloudy and ready to rain so wasn't great for a small aircraft but hopefully your experience will involve a small craft taking off or landing :D
