I wanted to love this place, I really did.
When I walked in, I had such a great feeling. The ceilings were nice and high, the salon was bright and clean, and most importantly it did not SMELL like a nail salon. The ventilation was amazing and it certainly didn't feel like I was poisoning myself with toxic fumes, as with many other nail salons.
The staff were kind and wonderful. They had a great selection of colours, comfy massage chairs and well-placed televisions to pass the time.
I went in for a shellac mani/pedi. The mani started out great...but it later turned out that they missed a portion of one of my nails so my nail looked very uneven. It was just one nail that looked off. But instead of removing the polish on one nail, the manicurist decided to just paint over that nail and added additional polish to every one of the nails on my hand. In all, I had SEVEN layers of nail polish on each finger. I didn't realize how ugly it looked until I got home and I was heading out for vacation that day so I didn't have time to fix it. Very disappointed.
My pedi was okay. Nothing special.
The shellac mani/pedi plus removal of my old shellac came up to about $100.
I really wanted this place to be my new nail salon from now on but sadly, the search continues.
