  • (reviewing from December 2007...bad with keeping up with my yelping) I had such a great time!! My friends and I caught the drag queen performance. It was amazing to see how a guy could really dress up to look identical to Beyonce. Michael Jackson was pretty impressive too... The best part about Free Zone was the crowd. Everyone (straight, gay, bi) was just there to have a good time. Unlike at the fancy nightclubs, people REALLY danced. (Ridiculous right?! People actually dancing? This club/bar isn't for people who think they're too cool to dance...). The dance floor was equipped with a pole. Some of the fellas put my friends and me to shame. It was like some sort of acrobatics show. At one point, a bartender called people up for free shots...let me repeat: free shots! Just to sum it up, great place! No complaints at all.
