No. No. No. I had previously written a negative review about Mintview and a year later at my OBGYN appointment, the doctor asked me about it -- while I was on my back in stirrups!! And what's crazy is I don't even have my picture or last name on my Yelp account. I felt so uncomfortable and vulnerable that I promised I would remove it -- which I did -- but now I am compelled to repost because they have done the exact same thing AGAIN and I am about to be out $170 for STD testing -- a standard preventive routine -- because they did not code it as compliant with the Affordable Healthcare Act.
Last year, I was charged more than $300 (!!!!!) for my well-woman appointment because I asked about getting an anxiety prescription. Dr. Danner did not inform me that this would be coded differently than the rest of my visit.
So here we go: almost $500 going toward this office for their crazily irresponsible coding. If they really cared about their patients, they would inform us exactly how they are coding things so we can choose to accept the services or not.
I chose a different healthcare system when I fell ill a couple months later (they were in South Park) and they were AMAZING! Wonderful doctors and everything was TOTALLY affordable.
Listen, if you want to pay a ton for no reason, go to Mintview. If not, go anywhere else.
