  • I have been frequenting Claire's for 20 years or more. I wouldn't review but felt after seeing some rather negative reviews, I should. We took the nearly 9 yr old to finally get her ears pierced. She has always been too afraid until this week she started begging to get them done. Now, she tends to be a bit timid and terrified in a lot of situations. The ladies were PHENOMENAL! Seriously, it started out super happy go lucky she selected her earrings. The lady explained care instructions. Dad asked if they could do both ears at the same time and since they had 2 trained staff members on shift, they were able to. Both of the employees were extremely patient because once the dots were placed, we went through 2 meltdowns. There were pinky promises offered and encouragement given. They did wonderfully. Gloves were worn and continuous warning about not touching the ears with dirty hands. Perhaps even an extra sanitation in fear they were touched. It was a bit costly for the care kit and earrings but totally worth it in my opinion. I would def recommend getting the young ones ears pierced at Claire's. I couldn't imagine taking her anywhere else that they would spend the time they did on a customer.
