It's close to the airport, but the hotel should've done a better job soundproofing the hotel during the renovation. We had an updated room, but the room was hollow. The walls were decorated with canvas but they weren't padded. The laminated floor was great for rolling the office chair but it didn't do anything to absorb the sound. We recommend the hotel look into installing some door closers to prevent the door from slamming. Our room had adjustable thermostat, but the AC unit is located in the living area and separated from the bedroom by a wall and a heavy door. So the living area was freezing and the bedroom and bathroom were hot. We weren't too impressed with the staff neither. We gave the staff our reservation number and our names, but the staff couldn't find the reservation by either info. We shared our expedia itinerary and the staff still couldn't find it. The staff asked a co-worker for help, and I explained to his co-worker the reservation was booked under my name and my wife's name but the staff interrupted me and said he wasn't talking to me. The staff said he would ask me if he needs my help. Really? His co-worker said he sees the reservation but the reservation was booked under "And", the and between my name and wife's name. Seriously? The staff started to blame Expedia for passing a bad reservation...not something we want to know.
